I am the MD of Inc Dot Design and Print. I enjoy my work, I prefer teamwork to solo endeavour and look for like minded partners to create an environment in which talented and industrious people can learn and thrive. Print is a tough business; fortunately our creative team possess the stoicism or some might say the bloody-minded stubbornness that insists on rising to a challenge.
I consider myself curious and young at heart. I love people. I love life. I believe that experience is the best teacher and as Ghandi said... "one should ‘Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever"
With thirty one years’ experience of the business, I think I know a thing or two. I started working for the family firm when I was eleven and apart from a brief spell as a ‘kissogram’ when I was at University – great for meeting interesting characters! – print and design is all I have known. From 1989 I was working for John Turnbull Design Associates and I took over the family company and rebranded in purple as Inc Dot, in 2001.
As the Managing Director I was responsible for the day to day running of the company but believed my duty was to keep the team happy and my customers satisfied. Now I have passed the baton to my brother and specialise in all things financial and legal.

Hi, My name is Ian and I am the senior sales executive here at Inc Dot. I’m now in my 5th decade in this trade and what I don't know about the print industry is probably not worth knowing (except that I’ve probably forgotten most of it - it’s an age thing, you know!!).
My areas of expertise include General Commercial Print, Direct Mail, Security Printing, Bespoke Envelopes, Labels & Cartons and Print Management. Having been responsible for the sales and commercial activities of a wide variety of leading print and print related organisations over the years I have gained a huge amount of insight as well as seeing the many changes which have shaped the modern day design and print industry.
My mission is to use my knowledge and skill set to further enhance the profile and profitability of Inc Dot and I'd be happy for you to drop me a line or give me a call so we can discuss your project and how we might bring extra benefits to your efforts.

I've been an advertising and marketing professional for a decade or three and I've worked in some top notch studios but I started at the bottom, making tea and working my way up the ranks. On the way I've learned not only how the design and print industry works but also learned the pitfalls and work-arounds. This all adds up to an ability to cut to the chase with a design project and an ability to pull artwork rabbits out of deadline hats. When I'm not doing studio things I am a writer, a radio engineer, broadcaster, actor and collector.

I am Inc Dot's newest apprentice, or as they say in Star Wars, Padawan. I'm new to the print industry, and am so happy to be working with new people. In my free time I enjoy baking, and at work you will find me in accounts, and on the front counter.
I have an obsession with Star Wars and a growing collection of duck ornaments.
Hi! I'm Fran and I'm one of the first faces you'll see after walking through our door! I'll do my best to help with any questions you may have and I'm always ready for a little chat. Outside of Inc Dot, I'm usually hiding behind a double bass or a flute - not that you can hide much behind a flute...
My name is Phil and if you ever come in to the studios here at Clifton Moor you are unlikely to see me as I am always tucked away in the back rooms, cutting, folding, stapling, binding, laminating, foiling and much much more. I am very skilled in what I do and am meticulous for detail. I've been doing this and other print-finishing roles for many years with some very big companies as well as Inc Dot so you could say I'm something of an expert.
Outside of work my big thing is Trains and the railways. Not only that but I'm very keen on science, astronomy and computers as well. You could say I'm something of a 'nerd' but in my ilne of work; you have to be a bit of a specialist.
I'm Richard but people call me Rich. I've been with Inc Dot since the very beginning and have seen the company grow through the many changes which have occured in the industry over the years. Having been trained as a master printer with lithographic skills, I am just as likely to be seen operating the huge digital presses these days. Not only that but I also oversee the production of all print and finishing. Quite a task.
When I'm not at work I like to spend time with my family and watching my favourite football team.
My forte’ is speaking with people on the telephone. I love to talk! Working with IncDot gives me the opportunity to speak with many lovely local people in local businesses – converting these businesses to clients is always a pleasure.
My passion is travel – I always have one holiday booked either before I jet off or soon after arriving home. I love nothing better than a long walk on the beach (preferably in glorious sunshine)! – oh and not forgetting the sipping of an iced Bacardi & Coke whilst watching the sun go down....
