    No problem, just send us an email with your pattern and we'll figure out the rest.

    Our printer uses paper on a roll, which means we can print your sewing pattern up to 841mm wide and longer than the standard 1189mm A0 length.If you've downloaded an oversized Copy Shop or Large Format pattern, send us the file and we'll check it for you and provide a price.

  1. No sticky tape required!

    Many downloadable sewing patterns come with two versions: an A4 file for printing at home and an A0, Copy Shop or Large Format file for professional printing.

    Choose the large format version, send it to us and we'll take care of the rest.

    Your pattern is printed at 100% actual size, so there's no piecing together page after page on the kitchen table. Just check your pattern instructions, cut out the pieces you need and get sewing.

  1. What size file should I send?

    If your pattern download includes an A0, Copy Shop or Large Format PDF, send us that version. If you're unsure which file you need, send us what you have and we'll help identify the correct one.

  2. Will my pattern be printed at 100% scale?

    Yes. Sewing patterns need to retain their intended dimensions, so we print them at 100% actual size rather than fitting or scaling the artwork to the page.

  3. Can you print layered PDF sewing patterns?

    Yes. If your PDF contains separate size layers, tell us which size or sizes you require and we can select the appropriate layers before printing.

  4. Can you print patterns larger than A0?

    Yes. Our roll-fed printer can produce patterns up to 841mm wide, but they don't have to stop at the standard A0 length of 1189mm. Send us oversized patterns for a price.

  5. Can you print A1 and A2 sewing patterns?

    Yes. A0 is common for downloadable Copy Shop sewing patterns, but we can also print A1, A2 and other sizes. Send us your artwork and we'll price it according to size.

  6. What paper do you use for sewing patterns?

    We use 80gsm white uncoated plan paper, the same type of paper we use for accurate large format technical drawings.

  7. Can you print sewing pattern instructions too?

    Yes. If your download includes separate A4 instructions, send those along with your pattern and we can print them at the same time.

  8. Can you print sewing patterns bought from Etsy?

    Yes. If you've purchased a downloadable PDF sewing pattern from Etsy or another pattern designer, download the files after purchase and send us the A0, Copy Shop or Large Format version where available.

  9. Do you deliver sewing patterns in the UK?

    Yes. You can collect your order directly from Inc Dot Design & Print in York or arrange delivery elsewhere in the UK.
